Hercules D. Logothetis, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Libertyville, Illinois. He is the owner and primary surgeon of Eye Physicians of Libertyville. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. Logothetis was the earliest adopter of SMILE correction surgery in Libertyville and the Chicagoland area. 

 

Dr. Logothetis has been featured and published in Ophthalmology Management, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today, Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Eyeworld. 

 

A refractive surgery patient himself, he is passionate about helping the Libertyville community improve their lifestyle through laser vision correction. Dr. Logothetis grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago and since 2018 has completed over 5,000 cataract surgeries and laser vision correction surgeries.

 

He serves on the Board of Trustees at the Hellenic American Academy and enjoys mentoring in medicine and entrepreneurship.
